The Challenge

The company initially approached me with a request for custom finance software, assuming their core issues revolved around accounting. However, upon a deeper audit of their daily workflow, it became clear that the problem was far broader. Their entire operational model relied heavily on manual tracking jobs were neither digitally logged nor monitored, employee performance couldn’t be evaluated, and task handovers were verbal or paper-based. This created an invisible bottleneck where small inefficiencies accumulated over time, leading to missed deadlines, unclear accountability, and under-utilized employee hours.

Their lead management was another area with hidden leakage. Leads came in from various sources: phone, walk-ins, referrals but with no centralized system to track them, follow-ups were often missed. Worse, customer data was stored physically, making it inaccessible for proactive relationship building or campaign outreach. Without visibility into incoming work, completed work, or team workloads, they were operating blindfolded in key areas of their business.
